Tumbling
From a shoot I did of a gymnast. Crazy stuff.

In honor of Fall and another Hokie football season, I thought I’d post something from a shoot I did for a friend last year. A bit of a departure from the kind of stuff I normally do, but it was really fun. (The sky is not photoshopped, aside from some color adjustments, it really looked like that.)
A different view from this series from the Outer Banks, you can really see how much the first house is leaning. I wonder if Hurricane Earl finished it off…
Also in Asheville.
From our recent trip to Asheville, NC. I’ve always been impressed with how our little point and shoot handles exposure.
From a promo shoot we did for our friend and musician Jeff Miller.
It’s hard to tell from this photo, but that house is leaning several degrees inland. There is a whole row of condemned houses here just waiting to fall into the ocean as the Outer Banks are eroded. We hope to get back there soon and take the time to really document them before they’re gone.
A 30 minute exposure, my first try at star trails in quite a long time.
